Our client has been running for over 250 years and have established a reputation for expertise in the renovation, repair, and conservation of old and historic buildings. With projects that vary from the consolidation of ancient monuments to the restoration of Georgian timber framed houses.
The role:
Our client, is looking for a Site Manager to join their team, ideally coming from a restoration background. You would be responsible for looking after new sites based around the Midlands.
Duties:
Responsibility for on site health and safety, including site inductions & toolbox talks
Coordinating site visits with client, local authorities, and warranty providers
Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings
Ensuring quality of work of subcontractors and trades
Reporting to the project manager daily with site records and progress reports.
Feeding back material/staff requirements to PM
WHAT YOU NEED
Conservation/Restoration experience
SMSTS
Ability to manage a team with confidence
High end work
Masonry and/or joinery background
Experience managing a site from cradle to grave
