Job Title: Site Foreman – Building

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a minimum of 15 years' experience in house building to join our reputable construction team. As one of the leading medium-sized civil engineering, construction, demolition, and survey companies in the UK, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Lead and manage a team of skilled workers and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks on-site.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all activities, including progress reports, budget tracking, and quality control measures.
- Regularly liaise with clients, addressing any concerns or queries promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in house building, with proven experience as a Site Manager.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team to achieve project objectives.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans, specifications, and relevant technical documents.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues on-site.
- Relevant industry qualifications and certifications are desired.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
