Joinery Supervisor / Manager £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience, Package Negotiable) Liverpool About the company My Client is a leading joinery sub-contractor installer who boast their own in-house manufacturing which allows them to bespoke joinery and specialist timber fire rated door sets. Operating for over 45 years, they excel at looking after their staff with a standard career life of 15 – 40 years. With employees being able to easily advance through the ranks which is shown by several current supervisors and managers beginning their careers as apprentices. The role: This is a new role that my client is offering due to significant recent growth, and they have now found themselves in the need for a new Joinery Supervisor / Manager who has the ability to effectively manage their own time and workload, as well as that of up to 6 employees on a range of small to large projects. Duties: Daily tasks will change depending on the day and the project but can consist of: · Day to day management of the joinery team. · Managing the production schedule. · Continuous review of processes with aim of improving and implementing positive changes where appropriate. · Communicating with customers and addressing any issues or concerns · Managing Health & Safety. Requirements: · Must have previous Joinery experience. · Must have previous managerial / supervising experience. · Must be able to work to strict deadlines and be able to work under pressure. · Experience of dealing with people by phone and email. · Experience of working on own initiative and as part of a team. · Self-motivated and enthusiastic. · Good written and oral skills. · Good planning and organizing of own work.
